Traffic Safety Propaganda
Traffic Safety Propaganda usually takes the form of PSAs (Public Service Announcements) that are produced at taxpayer expense and then aired in the media either at public expense or for free under a variety of measures and programs. In some cases, media outlets may be required to print or broadcast the propaganda as a condition of keeping their licenses.
This page provides you with an archive of the propaganda employed by various governments, states, nations and organizations related to traffic safety. From this page and the pages linked to from here, you can download and view propaganda from around the world.
United States Propaganda:
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHSTA) puts out the vast majority of the traffic safety propaganda as part of its annual enforcement campaign programs, like Click It or Ticket and Over the Limit, Under Arrest. This information is given to state and local law enforcement agencies who then (in most cases) submit the content to local media outlets as though they had prepared it themselves.
